I am amazed.
Amazed at myself, my mother, and the women that are fighting ovarian cancer.
I have come to realize, that behind my mother's words, there is strength.
Since I was little and my parents divorced, she has always told me through the hard times, "Don't worry, we will get through this."
My mom hates to see me cry and worry.
I have read many posts since I have been a member of this message board, and I have to say that I admire that bravery of all of the women fighting and supporting one another.
I pray that a cure for cancer will be found. I am scared every minute of the day about my mom, but she continues to say,"I am doing fine!" It is sometimes in that motherly scholding voice she used on me as a child LOL!
My mom is becoming stronger. She walked half a mile the other day and is exeriencing no pain. There are days that she wakes up crying, but she says that she fights through those times.
My mom had told me that sometimes life is cut short, and that she is living one day at a time and is thankful that the lord gave her another day to live.

Thanks
Brittany, thanks for your wise words. I was totally bummed out today because I found out yesterday my mother's cancer was clear cell, which is a bummer. I guess it makes it very treatment resistant. Thanks for the strength. I don't know how our mother's and all the women on this site do it. It is amazing.0
