Hi MR.R
My symptoms haven't really came fast. I don't have a lot of constipation, although i feel like I'M not threw with my B.MS. I do have a lot of gas, but I'm eating more fiber. I feel like i could sat on the tolet all day. The pressure is what bothers me. My Mother said before she had her hesterectompy(?) she had pressure in her rectum. Maybe that's what I need. I'll go next Tuesday for the test.
Thank you so much for your input. It really helps!!! My prayers are with you.

....any kind of symptoms. No blood in my stool or anywhere, no BM problems, I was always regular, maybe some weight gain, but no weight loss, never was queasy, or vomiting, I was always fine, and just going doing my daily routine, when I just felt a "hardness" or "Discomfortness" when I bent over to tie my shoes one day, waited a week to see if it would go away, and it didn't, went to the ER room, got X-rays done, and that doctor was the one who told me the hardness was a mass in my colon, and there was a mass in my liver, and transferred me immediately to a more well reputable hospital that treats cancers, that was 2 hours away, and they then took me in and I been with them ever since. It only took a day with them to know what I was facing, but they took tests to also make sure it wasn't...and it was what it was....Stage 4 Colon cancer with a met to my liver, I mean, all I thought was "Where was Stage 1,2 and 3??? my gyno said I didn't need a colonoscopy till I was 50! I'm only 43! it came up on me pretty quick with no warnings. Sneaky damn disease it is.
I wish you all the best with your colonoscopies!! may they come out negative!

Thank you to all who replied, boy you just don't know...do you. Better to find out what it is. Maybe.... It's nothing but a little minor hemoroid in side my rectum. Let's cross our toes and fingers.I've already had one type of cancer. This would be a whole new ball game. Thanks for all the answers to some questions I've had. I know something is just not right.0 -

Hi,
I wish you well on your upcoming colonoscopy.
I have a colonoscopy on Oct. 7th. I know the routine well already, but it's never something I look forward to. As you mentioned, the "crapping the pants" is certainly no thrill. Although I'm on chemo now, I've been wondering if the radiation I had in the past has had an effect on my bowels- I'm sure it has, actually. It will be interesting to see if they have any comment about radiation changing the colon/rectum area. Although I've been dealing with this two years, I actually haven't had a full colonoscopy in all this time, so it will be interesting.
Wishing you well on yours.
God bless,

Like Donna, my sister had no symptoms whatsoever. She had severe stomach pains which landed her in the ER. Her tumor grew outside of her colon, spread to her liver, ovaries and peritoneum. She is only 39! It is a sneaky damn disease. I pray your colonoscopy finds nothing, and it is a small price to pay for a beneficial test. If only there was a less invasive way to detect colon cancer earlier, we would not be battling stage IV right now!0 -
I'm With You
In a way, I am also looking forward to my 1 year colonoscopy. It is 10/28. Maybe I can put away my fears when it turns out OK. (knock on wood) I started my journey 1 year ago and have been NED since surgery last November and 18 weeks of chemo. I have had my bowel problems and nuropathy in my feet but that seems minor compared to what you are dealing with. I wish you the best and pray for all of us to enjoy good health.

Bowel Control
Since I posted the first time and eating the 20 mg of fiber a day I haven't had any other accidents so that has been good.
Also did blook work and I am in menopause so I got a low dose hormone and that has been helping.
Still getting tired in the afternoons even after being done with treatments for 4 months.
