Hi Rob,

I was just wondering how you made out in your week of radiation. I don't know if you remember, but I also just found out my cancer has spread to lungs and spine, I did 10 rounds of radiation and will do chemo next week. I think we are the only ones with it in the bone. I am in alot of pain, but I do take my vicodens faithfully! Just wondering how you are handling your treatments!

    Yes I remember. I had two doses last week. Thursday and Friday. Slight burn in the behind! Ztill on oral morphine too! 13 more treatments. You can find details on my blog if you like.

    Hey Rob, I believe I will have the xeloda, oxyaplatin, and avastin mix. I had 2 treatments of it when I found out it was just in the lungs, then when they saw it in the spine, I started immediately with radiation. I assume I will do the same chemo. I go see my onc. next monday, I have a week off!!! YIPPEE!!! I had the 10 treatments of rad. and they told me I would have a burning sensation in my esophagus area because it is in the lumbar part of the spine. It is very hard to swallow, I'm sure it will pass in time. Actually then my neuropathy should kick in from chemo!!! :) Never a break from this damn cancer! I will def. check out your blog. Keep in touch and let me know how you are handling it!
