bleeding
I know that my mom is on blood thinners for a blood clot, but .. she's called her nurse at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance about it and made an appointment for this coming Thursday.
I was just wondering, do/did any of you ladies experience any bleeding?

Bleeding
I don't think it's abnormal, i recently had bleeding from a pap smear and transvaginal untrasound. But to be sure, if you're worried, call the oncologists office. I bet someone there will answer your questions. I know, that they are beginning to know us at my mother's facility and in fact, we have permission to call one specific nurse with ANY questions and she has been great. Hope you're doing well. I think about you as I go through this with my Mom. Sometimes it's rather stressful..but nothing compared to her.0 -
Not a drop
I never bled from my vagina after the surgery. Another doctor said the my surgeon "liked to sew em up tight" what ever that means. Glad you notified the doctor. I was misprescribed my blood thinner one time by the nurse that called it in and took five times too much blood thinner. That caused a lot of bruising that did not go away. Saundra0 -

Lisa - haha, yeah!! I got my mom a hat for her birthday. It is a black and white animal print hat!! Its quite warm! She knows that I love animal print, and I thought she would look awesome in it! She loves it
My mom spoke to her nurse today and she said that it is the warfarin that is causing her to bleed. My mom said "it's like having my period all over again!" LOL.. It is nothing to be concerned about .. unless it is heavy bleeding.0
