Thank you for your reply, ittiny one said:Scan
Boy do I remember being so afraid when time for the first scan was here. Survivorship is a whole different story. You've come a long way baby. You've fought the hard fight. No polyps found last time, good sign. Update us all as soon as you can.
Thank you for your reply, it helps to have others to talk to, that know how I feel. I feel so scared inside, but I am at work and trying to hide it. My Onc will not being doing a scan, just bloodwork, I guess that is the way he likes to do it. Thank you again for replying, I feel so sad today.0 -

I know the feeling- my colonoscopy was normal in Feb, CEA .05 in April, CT scan clear in June- and then my CEA in Aug was 3.4- which is still normal but elevated since the last one. I haven't quite freaked out yet, but the whole thing has made me wish for the peace that comes with certainity.0 -

you are like the rest of us....everything in your life that isn't matter of fact relates to cancer...in order to enjoy your life again and regain control you have to take the control back that cancer dx took away from you. You are stronger than it is, you have proven that, and your CEA will be OK, that is the mode for you to put your mind in...Don't let cancer run or ruin your life, we have it but it will not run my life, don't let it run yours either. I go back for my 6 month bloodwork and CEA Sept 29th and yes I think about it but I will not allow myself to worry about something I can't control, only the things I can. It is what it is, until its proven then you like me don't have it....don't give it an opening, don't allow it back, never show weakness, be strong and fight it and live your life how you want to, not how cancer wants you to. Get mad or whatever it takes to overwhelm it, if it controls you then it has won, never allow that to happen. Keep the smile on your face and the love in your heart and you can beat anything......You are in my thoughts and prayers...Clift0 -
