Are they a tax right off?

Hi Nadca
Sorry you are having a bad day. Your wigs are a tax right off to the extent that you would deduct any other medical expensences (which I think is after 7.5% of your income). But if you get a perscription for a head prothesis from your doctor, most Insurance companys will pay for a wig. My insurance will cover up to $500.00 a year. Plus will buy bras for up to $250.00 a year (and every year after) if you have surgery. Check your policy or call your company and find out. Hope you are feeling better soon. ♥ Pammy0 -
Nadca .. I'm going wig shopping tomorrow, after my chemoCat64 said:nadca
And don't forget about all the mileage to and from all the appointments!

My sister will be joining me, and we have found a human hair wig shop - catering to chemo patients in Orange, CA. I am also taking a rx for a wig. I hope it all works out for me.
