Thank God
Abe
The Lord does work in mysterious ways. I'm so very happy for Linda and you.
Now for you: I'm a Nam era vet, had orders to a patrol boat in the delta - orders changed for a different school, had orders to LORAN C Station Tan Me - orders changed for an additional school and reported to a ship that had just returned from their Nam deployment.
I have only been welcomed home once and that was by a Customs Inspector in San Francisco in 1983 on my return to the world from a year on Iwo Jima. I understand your dislike for that place and that mismanaged war. From me to you, Welcome Home!!
Glad Linda has the GREEN LIGHT !

Jeff is cancer free too
Abe,
I know exactly how you feel about getting the news of being CANCER FREE!!!!!!!!!!!! when we went to the doctor last time we got the same news, what a rejoicing we had, we even went out to eat and celebrated even though he could eat really that much. I am so glad we had this chance together, and now we need to help the others on this site to get cancer free to, like wildgoose, mumphys' husband, donna70, and lets not forget Kitten0385. wouldn't that be nice for all of us to shout that great news.
Don't forget about us and check in with us.
Take care

Abe,
Was very happy to hear your Linda is "cancer free." We can relate....back in March my husband was diagnosed with stage iv EC.....surgery not an option. Received 2 rounds of very agressive chemo in April and May. Had another PET Scan and he is in remission. Had 2 more rounds of chemo June and July and now this Monday (the 21st of Sept) we have another PET Scan. Praying the results are the same. We pray morning and night for all the people on this site as well as praying he stays in remission. We will see what the results are next week. Enjoy this time with Linda and you are right....the time you spend with your loved ones are so much sweeter after all we have been through.
Stay strong.
