Hi. Sorry to hear about all you are having to go through. Your attitude is WONDERFUL and that's what is going to get you through this.

You are an amazing Young Woman Miss Kitten
I am reading the posts you write and find myself in awe of you. One basic how the hell are you doing this posting while laying in ICU? I am humbled by your courageous and positive attitude. Most would be depressed and withdrawn, yet it is the complete opposite with you. You are a role model to all who visit this site and I want you to know how truly special and loved you are by us. I get so wrapped up in my sh*t on a daily basis and feel so very alone and pretty much full of self pity, that when I read your posts, I am reminded that I am creating my own misery, and it is still a choice to face life with either a positive graceful attitude or with a self pitying negative one. You hang in there sweetheart, don't give up and thank you for being on this site.
Love,

I just want to thank everyone for your encouraging words throughout this ordeal. It is with all the strength I draw from all of my online friends and my "real life" friends that I am able to pull myself out of the deep ruts that I feel like I am dragging through right now. The colostomy is going to take me awhile to get used to, it is a huge change. My head feels much better now that it is shaved...no hair falling in my food. Well, my pain medicine is starting to kick in and I'm getting whoozy, so I am going to sign out for now. Hope everyone is hanging in there and doing well. Talk to everyone soon.tdaniels58 said:You are an amazing Young Woman Miss Kitten

Thanks for everything everyone! I am being told I get to go home tomorrow, so that'll be nice to be in my own house. I also have a lot I need to learn to deal with on my own, but it can be done! Eileen, I'm leaving tomorrow, but I am at Mayo, yes. I'm in St. Mary's in the Mary Brigh building, room 5724.

Cathy,
You are an amazing woman, When everyone on this site feels like they just cant take another day of bad news, wake up depressed, or ask themselved WHY ME? I think we need to look around and think, and remember just what you have went through this past week, not only are/was fighting cancer, you now have a colostomy bag, have lost your hair for the 2nd time, and still have those dancing shoes ready. When we think we are having a bad day I think we/us need to take a deep breath and say to ourselves if Cathy can go through with what she has had to this past year, then I can go through whatever is happening in our life that day, wheather it is passing through a storm, or learning how to dance in the rain, we ALL need to count our blessings, our loved ones we are here for, fighting cancer or a survivor has never had the problems Cathy has had and is going to have this past week. I know GOD has other plans for her here, and we need her here to help us get through the storms we travel, so that we have the dancing shoes to wear while waiting, not only has Cathy had to use "MOE's BIG GIRL PANTIES" to move on with this ugly disease we call Cancer, she has really fought to get through the "BUMP" in the road. We all have problems each and everyday, with our life, or our loved one, but I think we can truly say Cathy has really scarficed this week. You see she needs to still help JEFF through his treatment, and she still needs to help MUMPHY with AL through his surgery, and for ERICA to talk to and to get her through her Dad's surgery, and not lets forget WILDGOOSE, AND DONNA70.
I have really prayed hard for Ms. Cathy and her husband, What a lovely husband she has only being married a year and she was only 4 months when first diagnosed with this ugly disease. That is what you call a marriage in heaven.
Cathy, you stay strong we need you and you will fight this ugly disease we call CANCER>
Love you always

I know by the time you read this you will be home and resting in your recliner. No we might not have met in person, but I have met you online, and without you I wouldn't have gotten where I am today. I am constantly thinking of you, in fact Jeff will call me at work to tell me any news on you. He thinks as much of you as I do. I know this BUMP in the road has not been easy this past week for you or Patrick, but with LOVE and FAITH, you will get through this. I am off to work so I will catch you tonight.
