Hi Everyone. I just got back from NY where Mom had her second chemo and is in remarkable spirits. We took a picture for the website. She is in her new wig and summer hat. My sister also purchased a winter hat as well. Her 3rd chemo is in 2 weeks and then CT scan. We hope the chemo will have shrunk the tumors and stragglers enough so that she can have surgery. Let's pray so. Anyway, thought I would put our picture so you could see who we look like.

look so happy and proud to be mother and daughter in that picture. I hope things continue to go well for the both of you. Hugs to you both...Cindy
You are all so lucky to have each other. You are such a wonderful daughter and I'm sure your mother feels truely blessed. Such a sweet picture...tell your mom she looks great and I will keep her in my thoughts for her treatments to not effect her too harshly.

Great photo
Love the picture. I'll bet that you will have a surgery date soon. Be sure to take some night caps to the hospital because the wig is not so comfortable for bed. No need for nightgowns but do need a easy to get into robe because getting up and force walking is the most important recovery method your mother can do. It is painful but I forced myself and recovered rapidly. I was sleeping on my tummy as soon as the staples came out, which felt so good after 8 days on my back in the hospital. I had four chemos before the surgery and that shrunk my tumors by more than half (from 2.5 to 1.0 cm or less). (((HUGS))) Saundra0 -
Great pic!
Hi Lisa, nice to see you and your mom's faces! Glad she is in good spirits, and the chemo is not knocking her off her feet. There is a new report out last year that documents how much better cancer patients do with good support. Your mom is proof of that!
Warm hugs,
Kathleen:)0
