Time to vent again

I was so upbeat yesterday and feel so down today...I should have known that I wouldnt get thru taxol/herceptin without it draining my energy. Then I come to find out that I have to do herceptin weekly until I am finished which is early october. I didnt know that until friday when I was told.
I know that herceptin isnt supposed to have the side effects of chemo, but all of this just sometimes takes its toll on me. I was diagnosed in April and this just seems to go on and on and on. Its hard not to get down in the dumps so I guess I will just let the tears go today and see if that helps.
Thanks again everyone for listening or in this case reading...maybe I will have energy to walk tomorrow.
Hugs

Im sorry that you are so down. It really seems to be making its rounds lately doesnt it? I hope you get to feeling better soon. Keep venting here, thats what helps me. I force myself at times to come aboard and post and vent and then feel better afterwards. Take care and hugs to you.

Vent Away! I do it all the time!
Do you promise not to reach out into cyber-space and smack me if I say WOW~ isn't it awesome that so many meds exist today to help us do battle with the beast? Another weapon in the arsenal!
I know, I know, but it's the only upbeat thing I could think of! :-)
I hope you get to go for a walk; I know how discouraging all of this can be. (((HUGS)))

Hi Linda,

Hi Linda,
I wish I could reach through the computer and give you a hug. There are going to be days like this and I'm glad you came here to vent. That's what we're here for. I wish I could tell you that after 2 months or 4 months it will quit, but I can't. Everyone here has gone where you are now and it sucks. Thank God it passes. You feel like you're on a roller coaster and can't get off. You can remember your life before and you want to get back to life again. You will. Letting those tears go is about the best thing you can do. I don't know about you, but I couldn't stop them if I wanted to. Hang in there. You aren't alone in this my sister.
Love and big hugs,

:-(
Linda I am sorry that you are feeling so low today, but it will get better and you will rise above all of this. Claudia is right, we are lucky to live in a time when there are such drugs out there to keep us going.....even though we sometimes feel not so good at least we feel. I am glad you have come to vent, that one of the reasons we all come here~it is safe and we all understand. Just think of all these meds as your armor against the cancer beast, your way of beating him/her/it down.
Sending a thousand hugs to you,

Linda, feels like the
Linda, feels like the journey will never end and I once posted that it was the longest year of my life, but you will be done before you know it. Take it one day at a time. We are all waiting for you at the finish line. Hugs, Lili0 -
roll with it!
Hi Linda, Go ahead vent and let it roll. I know it's been said before that we are all on a journey. Each of us with the same destination in mind but oh, the rugged roads and pot holes we find along the way. I know that feeling of "will this ever end". While I'm not always sure of that answer, I am sure I don't want to start all over again. Here's to how far you have come and not loosing your sense of direction even with the "road blocks".

Hey Linda,
Here you took the time to answer my first posting and it was the day after you had this meltdown! I'm hoping that the darn meltdown was the 24 hr kind :-) I sure hope you are feeling better. I'm not far enough into the BC but I clearly remember 7 years ago when I was in the midst of fighting ovarian cancer. I was soooooo sick that I had to have chemo first, then the major surgery, then more chemo. It went on and on and I had many days when I just would start crying in the middle of doing something and sure found out it helped a great deal to reach out to others. You hang in there and ride those bumps out.
Lots of Hugs

Hope you start to feel better. Cancer sucks, doesn't it? Wish none of us had to go through this, but I guess the ups & downs are just part of it. ♥ Pammy
