Is there anyone out there who lives in NH and who sought and received acupuncture treatment for relieving the effects of chemotherapy. I'm going to be starting chemo in the next few weeks and am looking for an acupuncturist. If you did use acupuncture, do you feel it worked? Where did you go for treatment? Would you recommend them? thanks.

    Welcome, nh
I'm sorry, I don't anything about acupuncture, but I do know you have to be very careful about having ANY other procedures or treatments during chemo -- you may have already done this, but if you haven't, definitely run it by your oncologist first.

I have to agree with Traci.
I have to agree with Traci. I don't know if acupuncture will help, however it seems to me that adding punctures to your skin will raise your chance of infection. So most deffitnatly talk to your oncono about this before you do anything. Please check with him.
Good luck with your treatment and welcome to the board

Yes, ask your oncologist before you do anything to your skin. It might not be advised.

Hi and welcome to the site! I don't live in NH, so, I don't know any. But, check with your oncologist before you do anything. You have to be careful with chemo.
