Hi all!
After 4 cycles of A/C, I get to start taxol/herceptin on friday. I go in for another mugga scan tomorrow cuz my heart rate is still racy.
I have heard from several of you guys that taxol/herceptin is easier so I am trying not to get too nervous...but at least I knew what to expect from that combination and of course I have to relearn all over again.
On the plus side..I am 1/2 way thru the chemo then its on to 52 weeks of herceptin so I will try to stay positive.
Thanks for ear again

Linda, I want to say congratulations on being 1/2 of the way thru! That is great! I don't know about herceptin, but, many here are on it and will post. Hang in there!

Yes, stay positive Linda! Soon you will be done with chemo. I don't have to take herceptin as I am HER2 - and ER and PR+. Someone will write and let you know what it is like.

Hi Linda,
I'm glad you are
Hi Linda,
I'm glad you are finished with the first round. Change is hard, especially when you are looking at the unknown. Even though you hear the other cocktail is easier to take, we all know that meds. act differently on different people. You have been a strong warrior and it sounds like you are ready for round 2 of your plan. I know all of this is easy to say and hard to do. It can get so exhausting just remembering where you are in treatment and what's next. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Love and gentle hugs,
