Glad it is not a cancer
Glad it is not a cancer (which is where our minds tend to go) and that it is treatable. Sorry the GP doesn't know what to prescribe for a bladder infection but glad that someone is on top of things. IBS is not easy to deal with and so many things can affect it. I was thinking that maybe you had gall bladder problems. I did about 6 months after my uterine cancer. It caused me terrible pains. Glad yours isn't that but it probably hurts just as much. Prayers that it all resolves for you.

Dearest RE
Not glad you had to go through any of this, but if there had to be a diagnosis, glad it was stress! You can "train" your body to relax which is a great thing. And kudos to you for staying persistant! I think sometimes I need to see that in others, like you & Judy, to give me a little courage to stand up when I need to! (alright, I can here the giggles now! Stop that! I AM standing up! Your all are just looking straight ahead instead of down!). ♥ Pammy0 -
Good for you....
insisting on and getting the care you needed. Now you can be on the mend. Sounds like you already follow a good diet for your IBS so hopefully that inflammation will heal up soon too.
The new picture of the baby that you put on is soooo cute!!
Love and Light,

Dearest RE,
I am so glad you got this straightened out. It is not 'nothing', but it is manageable, Thank God. And not life threatening, again, Thank God.
I was diagnosed with spastic colon (similar to ibs?) years ago and they said just eat right and avoid stress. Don't they know that eating right is the most stressful thing in the world for me??? LOL
Anyhow, prayers that the pain will soon be all gone.
As for relaxation, I suggest ....oh, maybe making some book markers or something...(tee-hee). Love ya!

I didn't know this RE. Thanks for the info. I've had three bladder infections this year and did not know that the two were related.
I'm so glad to hear that your abdominal pain is not cancer related. I imagine the pain and not knowing its source caused a great deal of stress. Because you are a cancer survivor, I would think that your GP would have been quicker off the mark when the first round of antibiotics didn't clear up the problem.
To echo everyone else--good for you for your persistance!!
We may indeed be our own worst enemys at times but we also need to be our own best advocates.
Glad you're on the mend.
Love and Peace

I,m sorry that you have had to deal with this Re. I know IBS is very difficult to deal with. I have had antibiotic resistant Urinary Tract Infection..even after weeks of intravenous antibiotics. The urologist has now decided to leave it untreated for awhile, to see if my body can fight it. Also found fatty liver too...but this is all good news for you since your worries about cancer have been proved false. Hope you feel better soon.Booberta said:ibs and bladder spasms

RE... glad that you finally received the answers that you needed to ease your mind... I am sure with the road you have traveled it is very easy to let your mind wander to the "what it must be's"... I am so glad that you were persistant in getting the answers that you needed so that your body can get what it needs to heal... and make you feel better!
♥ & hugs,

More Me time for RE!!!!
RE....that "me time" you scheduled the other day?? Did I detect that you Dr has kinda, sorta prescribed more of this???? I am so sorry that you are in pain; it is truly debilitating, even when it is THANKFULY not cancer. Combating stress is easier said than done, I know. Reggie calls me the original fretter. I want to unruffle everyone's feathers, make everyone happy, be sure other people wake up on time, get to their appointments, etc. etc. And even when I realize it isn't my job, and I don't go so far as to remind people of where they should be, and when and why, that doesn't stop my insides from fretting about it! LOL
I am glad you are finding out what is causing your pain, and hopefully you will get it, and your stress level under control!
Love you, RE Take care of your sweet self!
Hugs,

Thanks for letting us know RE! Sorry that it is stress related. I think having bc makes it impossible to avoid stress ever unfortunately. Hope your health will improve from now on.

I am so sorry that you have been suffering with this, but, thank goodness you know what it is and how to treat it now. I wish there was some magic way to relieve the stress in our lives, but, I think that comes with having a diagnosis of bc, and you, as well as I, have had that more than once. I pray that you will feel better now, physically and mentally. And, I love the new pic of Ava! She is absolutely beautiful!

Very relieved for you
My dear RE, I am so, so happy that this is not cancer rearing its ugly head again. I mean, it's not wonderful to have an inflammed bladder, but that you can take care of. I think it's great how you stand up for yourself (like with "Ed" from your doctor's office), listen to your body, and encourage us to do the same. That's a valuable lesson I've learned from you. Now you can work on the stress and diet part in peace. I recommend yoga and meditation for the stress. As for diet, it sounds like you're pretty healthy already, but have you thought about going veggie for a while to see if that helps? My good wishes to you!

Hi RE,
I'm sorry that you
Hi RE,
I'm sorry that you are not feeling well. My mother has Crohn's disease, so I understand how painful that can be. She also gets a lot of bladder infections. Her DOC told her to take an AZO cranberry tablet everyday to help prevent the bladder infections and it is working for her! She is a worrier and is having to change how she deals with stress. Would you mind letting me know the name of the med. your dr. gave you for your "insides"?
Maybe it will help my Mother's relax also. You know I'll be thinking of you and that ADORABLE baby.
Love and gentle hugs,
Donna0
