My Mom is having a CAT scan of her chest in the morning...
Was wondering if everyone could say a little prayer for my Mom because in the morning she is having a CT of her chest to see if she has lung nodules. The surgeon said he wants to rule those out before proceeding with her hysterectomy on 8-25. I just don't want this to delay her surgery. He said if she has lung nodules, they would need to be shrunk before hysterectomy. I will update you on the results when she gets them back. Thanks in advance.

In my prayers, Leanne
Your mother will be in my prayers. The CT-scan I had in April 'noted' a 2.7 mm nodule in my lung, and even though my oncologists both said it was nothing, and went ahead and did pelvic radiation immediately afterward for 2 months and did nothing about treating the lung nodule, I worried that it was growing larger while we were ignoring it. The CT-scan I had last week noted 'no lung nodule visible', and 'no evidence of disease'. So if any lung nodules show up that are less than a centimeter, please don't let them stress you out for nothing like I did.
Your mother's journey is new and scary, and I will keep you both in my prayers today.0 -

I prayed for you and your mom last night and again this morning.
A big hug from Sally
In Jan. before my hysterectomy, my Pet and Ct scan showed a 15mm x 11 mm lung nodule. With the help of a special pulmonary Dr and radiology Dr it was decide to take the wait and see approach. The original Pet Scan showed no metabolic uptake. (good)
Six months later it is still the same size with no metabolic uptake. They will be following it closely but feel it is not cancer related. Prayers to you and Mom.0 -
