Don't worry, feeling down or not yourself goes with the territory. Thankfully we all have each other here and always know that we will understand where each is coming from.

Its a long road for some of us to get back to feeling good both physically and emotionally. But we keep plugging and enjoying life as much as we can.

    Flakey
I've been in a real funk lately too.
I've been trying to pull myself together and stay upbeat, but it's hard when someone thinks that since the surgery got all the cancer, I should "get over it already" and seems to think it's no more serious than a head cold or something.
On the upside, I'm halfway done with rads. YESSSS!

    Oh TJHay,

Now that you realize that you're NORMAL, don't tell anyone! Keep that flakey thing going for as long as possible as was so eloquently put by fauxma(?) I'm pretty sure that's who said it. If not, please forgive my flakiness. We all go through these periods, no matter how far out from treatment we are. I know exactly how you feel!!!! I especially hate the bored part with no energy to do anything. It sucks, so much for eloquence. Just know my dear friend, you are never alone.

    Love and big hugs,

    Not
You are not a flake! But the fact that you've called yourself one (kind of funny) might be a good sign that your spirits are lifting out of the down dreaded down period :-)

I think you are in good company! Checking the posts lately, it seems may of us have the end of summer doldrums, pissed about cancer, tired of being upbeat, and just the unspoken (ok, I am gonna say it!) wishing we had never HAD to find this place, and wishing that no new ones ever needed to find it, either. It isn't easy to log on daily and see a "help me I'm afraid" post...our hearts go out to each and every one of them.

And then you have TANTRUMS added to your personal mix! :-)~

But it's all ok; we all have these peaks and valleys, and I'm glad you are posting to keep us in the loop!

    Hang in there, sister!

    Hugs,
    Chen♥
