45th Wedding Anniversary

Good Morning,
I just wanted to share that today is our 45th Wedding Anniversary! I'm so thrilled that I can share it with my best friend, my wonderful and caring husband.

Our medical journey this past 3 years has been very trying for both of us. Being a man, he's a problem solver and this is one problem he hasn't been able to solve. He's been there for me every step of the way and that's so comforting to me.

I've seen the pain in his face when we get a bad report, and the joy when we get a good report.

I'm so happy to say that we're more in love today than we were when we met 46 years ago, and although it's been a difficult journey at times, we're going to go the rest of the way together.

I pray that when I'm gone, his memories will give him comfort, but we're planning many Happy Anniversaries before that day.

I wish all of you, your spouses and caregivers good health, peace and love.

    Jane, thank you so much for sharing this. It is a wonderful thing to hear of couples going strong after so many years together and so many bumps in the road. All too often people give up at the first bump. That you have been together 45 years and still going strong is good hope for the cynics among us. I wish you and your husband many, many more anniversaries together. You guys are pretty inspiring. Many hugs and much love to you this day...Cindy

    Thank you ladies,
    I appreciate your good wishes, we're just tired today and hanging out resting.

    Thankfully hurricane Bill is missing the east coast, living through 3 hurricanes in Florida was more than enough for a lifetime!

    It's so nice to have all of my new friends wish us well. I wish all of you many happy milestones now, and in years to come.

    45 years is definitely an achievement in this day and age, even more so that you are still obviously much in love with your husband! May you have many, many more happy years to celebrate.

    What a wonderful milestone. My husband and I hit our 40th last month and this past August we were able to go on a cruise to Alaska to celebrate. Happy, happy anniversary!
