Some good news

My nurse practitioner called today and the mole is nothing to worry about, my urine tests were good, my blood tests (for diabetes) could be a little better but they are not bad. She also said that they tried to call to schedule the ultrasound but they had the wrong phone number. She gave them the correct phone number and also gave me their number to phone in the morning. She said they should have my other films to compare and that they are most likely erring on the side of caution and I am fine with that. She said that they should be able to get me in quickly so I am hoping for the ultrasound this week sometime. Will post when I know more. But all in all, things are looking darn good.

    HOORAY FOR DARN GOOD!!!!
    Happy to hear the mole is not a concern, my husband had one removed last week and it too came back A-OK! Let us know when the rest of the results get back, so far so good and we do love the good reports!!!

    Also Re, I read your beautiful tribute to your mom. I lost my mom to cancer a few years ago. What a special lady you mom was and she had a special daughter in you. The apple does not fall far from the tree.

    Stef, I was just thinking last night about you and the biopsy. I am so relieved the results were nothing to worry about and that your numbers are all OK. It's great that your doctor is being cautious and doing the ultrasound. We will be thinking of you and waiting for more good news.

    And the news gets better.
    And the news gets better. Ultrasound today, reviewed right there by radiologist, NED, come back in 6 months thank you very much. And surprisely neither the mammo or ultrasound were any more painful than they were before.
    I am taking a turn around the floor with NED. We are doing a lovely tango.

    The news can't get much better than that!! Whoopee!

    How's NED on the dance floor? I hope to take a spin with NED one of these days, too. Maybe I'll rent a billboard on the interstate, too, so everyone who passes by can enjoy of a small slice of my good news...well, one day. Hopefully, we will all be following in your footsteps one day soon. :)
