For MichelleP
How is your husband doing with the fatigue?
I did some research as started to get upset with fatigue caused by kemo, you know, I am well 14 days offshore and the 14 days I spent at home, I receive the kemo and start with the fatigue so not able to do a lot of things I would like to do with my family.
Found something, asked my onc and she agreed to try it, now, I am on day 3 after kemo and today was the busiest day I have had at home since dx and did it great, tomorrow I am going off the city to visit my sister and feeling great, this was a major solution for me and if your husband still feeling down, I would like to share it with you.
Cheers

Yes, he's still having a major problem with fatigue and it's getting worse. His platelets on Tuesday were "6" so off for yet another transfusion. I called the onc doc and said we have to change from the gemzar/carbo. It's just too hard on his system, so I suggested Tarceva perhaps. We meet with him this coming Tuesday to discuss the change. No treatments this week so maybe it will help.
I would like to talk to you about the meds you are taking. He is just so weak and tired that he can't even walk to the bathroom.
Thank you my friend!0 -

I did find these two articles (old ones) and asked my onc about it. She agreed to try it with me as my fatigue is not caused by anything else (Can see your husband has anemia), so please check with his onc and talk about it.
