Hi all
Well I guess you could say I sort of hit a milestone today. I had my fourth and last round of a/c today and will start taxol and herceptin at my next visit in 2 wks. From what you all have said, the taxol/herceptin should be much easier to tolerate. Anyway, 4 down, 4 to go. I am not counting the every 3 wks for 52 weeks of herceptin.
And you know what else? I had an epiphany last week. After 3 rounds of chemo I finally figured out that I wasnt going to feel like I did 1 year ago. I have to learn to cope and accept a new normal for myself for awhile. Instead of analyzing every symptom, I have decided that its all part of the cancer/chemo experience. I tell my oncologist what I am feeling and then let her worry about it. It really has helped me. I havent used a sleeping pill in over a week and I am sleeping fair and I have used 2 xanax in the past wk so considering I was taking 2 per day, I have come along way...
Thanks for listening or in this case reading
Hugs to you all
love

Yes, huge milestone!
A big accomplishment, Linda. Good for you!
Am particularly happy about your epiphany. Your realization, at this point, will certainly be helpful to you not only now - but, later, also.
Best wishes to you.0
