Visiting Ned
While I am still unemployed at the moment, I was accepted for a volunteer job at one of our hospice agencies. I will be doing some office work (which gets me the experience I need) and some patient visiting. I am so looking forward to this. I have kept busy with volunteering here and there for things this summer and boy, have I met the most interesting people. And I am in my last term at school for my degree. If I get an internship next month, well, it could not get any better than this. I am so glad that I will be getting a degree I can't even find the words for it.It has been a long two years. I cannot believe that I had 3 surgeries last year and here I am still up and going.
Thank you to all the ladies here on the board for your support and sharing your stories. Many days I read them and they have kept me going. I love you all. Hugs, Cindy

Woo Hoo!
You might have trouble believing that you had 3 surgeries last year and are still up and going... but I doubt anyone else around here has trouble believing it. The fact that you have volunteered to work with a hospice agency says more about you than words could express, so all I will do is yell Woo Hoo!

Oh my! What a wonderful
Oh my! What a wonderful post! You sound so upbeat and happy~as well you should! First and foremost NED...ahhh what a guy, huh? Having him around sets the tone not just for the day, but for life itself! And your volunteering and your pending internship! Awesome!!!!
If you need a letter of recommendation from the Rad B's, their roadies, groupies,or wannabes to secure that internship, I think we just might be able to make that happen! LOL!
Congrats to you!!!

Great News
I am so happy that Ned has come to dance with you as well!!! That is wonderful news.
Isn't it amazing how much we can make it through with we take it one moment at a time and accept all of the love and support of others. I was very independent physically but I now know that the psychological support of family and friends was what kept me going. Those moments when I was saying, "I can't take this for one more second" I know that someone was lifting me up because I literally could no longer do it on my own. Anyway, you have proven your great strength and I am so happy that you can now celebrate this wonderful news!
God bless!

Carol... don't feel bad, I had to ask the same question several months ago... NED is the guy that we all want life time tango's with... when our test results show.. No Evidence of Disease..

Try as I may, I could not come up with a suitable N.E.D. Probably the closest was Newly Exterminated Disease.0 -
