Quilt of Hope

This is a quilt block that I stitched for a Quilt of Hope" for the cancer center. Patients who are treated at the cancer center are invited to make a quilt block to be sewed together with other blocks to make a "Quilt of Hope." They display the quilts in the cancer center. As they get more quilts they will rotate the quilts to be displayed.
Someone made the blocks and you could chose a block you wanted or make your own block. I chose this one as it had some peach in it. Peach is the color for Uterine cancer, so I stitched the peach ribbon,, and used peach for the flowers.
Some people stitched, other used a pen to write things, some included pictures. There is quite a variety of blocks.
Someone has sent me the saying "In Peace and Caring" each week, and it brought such comfort, I used it as one of my saying. I want to "Celebrate Life" each and every day. The other saying is "Take Heart and Be Strong". God had helped me to be strong throughout this journey.
Just wanted to share this with you. The cancer Center I went to had many uplifing and ways to encourage people to have Hope. If you remember the Quillow of Hope they gave me my first chemo treatment. I thought the Quilt of Hope also encourages others.
