Congratulations Pat on the good report! That is wonderful! I do hope they can help you with the muscle spasms. I have no idea about that. I miss my group too. But, I still see my rad techs and rads oncologist every month!
Congrats again!

Thank you and Congratulations to you too Teena for finishing Rads this week. While it seems great, get ready for the missing it. All of a sudden there are no chemos to do and no rads to do, and I know I felt (for lack of a more modern word due to chemo brain) berift. I had nowhere to go, nothing to do to fight the beast any more. I was totally lost. After a couple of weeks though, I started to get back into my daily rut.......oops, routine. It gets better and actually, I was looking forward to seeing everyone, and its only been about 7 weeks - LOL. There were lots of hugs all around and they were playing with the little hair on my head. It was nice to have them make a little fuss over me, I miss it. But, if that's the worst that comes from finishing Rads, it is the BEST feeling to have it all behind you.
Congrats!

Yeah for Pat!!
What more could you ask for than a "good" report? That is awesome news! And good news for you too Teena on completing Rads this week. Just a few more to go? It is so wonderful to hear when someone has made it through their treatment! That makes those of us that are left feel stronger and more sure that we can do it too. -) Pammy0 -
Good news, Pat!
From your Rad Onc. Thanks for sharing. I'll be hoping you soon get some relief from your back discomfort.
Most of us do struggle a bit, when all treatment has been completed. Just stick with your follow-up schedule as instructed, keep all your appointments. As my med onc sometimes reminds me - this is the whole goal. To eventually see all of them less often.
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Hi Pat,

I hope every check up is as good as this one.

Yippee!!
That is so awesome! Way to go! Hang in there, it's common to feel like "What now?" Many women go through it after treatment ends. There is a word for it, but it slips my mind. I do hope that your back feels better. I can relate to mysterious back pain issues! Just don't do anything too strenuous. And always remember to lift with your legs!
Best wishes,

Great news pat!
funny, that's what I said to the onc staff when I went last Friday. My next appt is in January, so I did the happy halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year to them all.
Even though you hate the reason you are there, most of these people are great and encouraging and make you feel as if you are being taken care of, so it is a bit of a let down when they won't be a regular part of your life.
take care of those muscle spasms.

YEA! What great news! Doesn't it feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of your shoulders to have those tests done and to know that everything is ok? A good report is what we all look for! Congrats Pat!
Love, Jeanne
