Hi Amanda... I am so glad
Hi Amanda... I am so glad you were able to get out and enjoy Marissa's game... It is nice to get out and get on with the joys of living... life does go on as we face the battle of the beast, and when we have the strength and ability to get out and enjoy it we should capture every moment that we can! The things that memories are made of! Sorry about your a/c... that sucks.. but hopefully they will have it up and running soon, and things will cool off for you... personally I hate being over heated!
hugs..

Batter Up!!!
HOORAY!!! What a sweet surprise, your getting to the game! And, ya know, hard as it sometimes can be, especially when we feel like a walking billboard for cancer treatment, isn't it great when we are not as visible as we think we will be? That no one gave you a sideways glance is fantastic! And those who may have were probably just curious ( I know I would be!) We who knew you were worried about not being able to go are grinning ear to ear right now! Awesome!
Hugs,

I'm so glad you got to go Amanda! I'm thinking of using a mask at school, at least in the hallways. That'll be a hoot!

You are brave to forge ahead and keep on with life~it is do-able. Hat, sunglasses, mask--whatever it takes, don't let cancer take any more from you than is necessary. sometimes we have to rest, and be easy on ourselves to heal. But some things are important to keep us going, and I imagine your daughter knows how brave you are to do what it takes to keep going.
My daughter plays fastpitch, and thru her sports years (and my treatments) I knew it was important to be there to support her no matter what kind of comments or good intentions others may say or do towards me. She is playing college fastpitch now, and I love feeling good to watch her play~and our kids really watch how we respond to this stuff called cancer and treatment~It often makes them stronger to watch us go thru it all. Cancer is very real, and people just have to learn to adjust to us living our lives no matter what.
Here's to more games!

Amanda,
I am so happy you could see your daughters games yesterday. Too bad about not being able to go today and about your ac.
You wanted to go and you were able to which is wonderful and you were smiling under that mask the whole time---admit it---you were weren't you.
Hugs and many smiles,

So glad you got to go to your daughters fastpitch game. Its funny how the simple things like going to a game or a movie can be a treat especially when youre going thru treatment. Sorry to hear about your a/c. I wouldnt do well without mine.

I am so happy you got to go. I know how much it always meant to me to go to all of my girl's games, and my sons. You are a great mom, and I am sure this meant more thanyou know to your daughter.

Hey Amanda...
Glad you got to make it to the game. Bet your daughter was even happier!! I'm curious, what did your pretty mask look like? Sorry to hear about your A/C. Hope it gets fixed soon. I like heat, so I'm always turning the air off and hubby is always turning it on. I just know he is waiting for the hot flashes to begin so I will always want it on!! (:-) Pammy0 -

That is the coolest thing to do!! If your going to have tears, let them be tears of joy and warmth from things that melt your heart, not break them. I absolutely would have cried!! -) Pammy0 -
