karen, my husband has tried
karen, my husband has tried supplements such as coq10 but we didn't see a change. i would be careful of anything your husband uses because it may interact with his drugs prescribed by the doctor. be sure and consult with the doctor before using anything.0 -

Supplements for Cancer
A positive attitude is the best gift one can give one's self.
Though I am researching for the daughter of a friend, If it were me, I would ask my D.rs' if:
Colostrum, Milk Thistle, Transfer Factor, DHEA, and the basic vitamins, would be counter productive to any cancer treatment.
I just read an article that states cancer cells thrive on vitamins/nutrients taken to strengthen the body as a whole, so it seems a catch 22 is in play when attempting to strengthen the body from the cancer, that also feeds the cancer. I need to do more research, but will not give up hope.
As My quest continues, I would automatically take Colostrum & Milk Thistle. I've seen many supplements such as these help the side effects chemo, and actually slows renal/kidney failure (with regular doses of Milanta), cushings / adisons desiese.
God Bless you all who are dealing with this struggle.0 -

He's currently not doing or scheduled to do any chemo or radiation. I've looked at alot of sites that say Ellagic Acid Formula with Graviola helps fight cancer. From what I understand the ingredients in this is all food & plant extracts and is completely safe. It would just be nice to hear from someone that has taken something that helped. He has kept a positive attitude throughout the whole thing. Due to all of the medications that he's taking he is always tired and sleeps alot. It would be nice to just find something that could help with this. Thank you all for your replys.0
