I was supposed to have DD AC x 4 every two weeks (finished it) and DD Taxol x 4 every two weeks, but my first taxol gave me horrible side effects, and onc was really worried about the neuropathy I got in all my fingertips and bottoms of feet right out of the gate. She has switched me to taxotere, which I had the 2nd transfusion today (but it was the first taxotere) and I will await the weekend and see what lovely side effects I get from this. She is making me take the dang blasted Neulasta shot after each of the taxotere (which I hate with a passion and get horrid bone pains from) and if the neuropathy worsens, she's stopping the last two treatments. I hate this freaking disease and all we have to go through. Please don't be put off by my side effects, I have lived through them just fine, and since neuropathy won't kill me and my triple negative cancer might, I'll take all the side effects I get! We all react so differently to the chemo we get. Everyone hated the AC, I never missed a day from work and side effects were most tolerable. Go figure.

Just had my first TAC
Just had my first TAC treatment today at 9:15 a.m...............it's now 7:30 and I'm doing fine...so far!! LOL Having the N shot tomorrow afternoon.
It will be okay.....scary stuff, but like everyone here told me...it's doable.
My thoughts and prayers are with you!!0 -
