CA125 dropping
Just wanted to post a quick update that my ca125 has dropped on the abraxane. Biggest drop I've ever had. Figured it had to be better as the pressure in my abdomen hasn't been as bad and the incontinence has gotten a little better. Anyway Abraxane #3 was given yesterday and my Dr said we'd stay on this one as long it keeps working. :-D

Wonderful
Hi Bonnie,
You know I think this is great news for you! One of the women in my support group just found out she'll be able to go on a PARP inhibitor trial at the hospital I just started going to in Pittsburgh. From what I've heard about PARP inhibitor trials, they're working with women who are BRCA positive, which this gal is. I haven't seen discussion about these trials, but if you know you're BRCA positive, it would be a good one to look into.

Hi Sue, I have looked in to these trials but because of the chemos I have been on now I do not qualify. But am hopeful that one day I will ~ it is working amazingly for brca positive women. Thanks for caring enough to share and please come back and let us knwo how it is working if you can. Hugs Bonnie0 -
