CMF Chemo

Hi everybody.

Just checking to see if anyone else is having CMF chemo. I posted a few days but so far, no other CMF people have responded. I'd love to exchange notes.

    cmf chemo
    hi jackie:

    it is cytoxan, methotrexate and flourouracil (5fu).

    I had carboplatin, taxotere and Herceptin once every 3 weeks for 6 rounds. I hope you find someone who has had this, welcome to our board and good luck!

    Lots of us here have had chemo, of course. I hadn't ever heard of CMF, 'til your post. (Had TAC, myself - as many here have...)

    I'm hoping someone steps forward, so that you can exchange specific info. Do you know: is CMF an "unusual" - as in rare - chemo protocol? Or, is it really new, perhaps? Just wondering...

    Either way, we're here for you.

    I think this regimen is pretty standard. It is not new.
