Time for Positioning
Well, I was much better at getting into position without much adjustment needed after 16 treatments. You are probably much quicker than I and will "get it" sooner. The techs will always be there to make sure of your positioning: with the four of you, you should have no problems.
Sorry about the missing hunk. I am going to boast: my weekly onc. meeting is preceded by a meeting with the gorgeous resident of the week. A little eye candy for me; Aortus not so impressed.0 -

Well I can tell you that by the time you are done you will lay yourself down in position without much help from the tech. For me 2 of my tech were hunky guys, however i was not thrilled to be flashing my road map of a boob at them. And know i am not bashful at all.
Moopy you enjoy that eye candy, gives you somthing to think about why you are being zapped
happy smiles

Because mine didn't use a mold I was positioned by them each time but it didn't take long. I would put my arm over my head and grab the bar. They would move me left or right or up or down and then check the numbers and whatever with the lasers. When it was perfect they would leave and it was a go. The positioning didn't take but a few minutes each time. And the treatment was zaps to three different areas and the last five were the boosts to just the tumor area. Very easy. I had gals and guys but none of the guys were anything to write home about. But they were all sweethearts. For me I am rather bashful about my body, say in a swimsuit or in something revealing, but it never bothered me to flash my boobs or have pictures taken of them at all. Go figure. Maybe that is because the pelvic rads were so much more invasive for me. I didn't care if they saw my two scarred, saggy old boobs. My breasts and body looks like I was in the movie Pshyco and survived, one slash after another.
So if they were into slice and dice movies I would be their movie queen. LOL

Wow, how fortunate for you~~I had only one gal, and 3 guys who were all very young and good looking. I kept telling myself "they are helping you heal, they are helping you heal" but I was really feeling "they are looking at my boobie, they are looking at my boobie". Ha, you have taken me back to my rad days which were finished 3 years ago! Hey another 3!
Keep the joy, pammy!

OMG!!!! ROFLOL!!!
You gals have me laughing so hard!!
Moopy - you deserve your eye candy!! Just find a great pair of dark lensed designer eye glasses that you can wear and tell everyone the glare from the lights are giving you a headache....then you can look anywhere you want at the eye candy!! (wink, wink).
Tjhay - Those two hunky guys are probably greatful for the road map. We all know men are shy about asking for directions!
Stef - Soooooo, it was YOU in that movie that was the double behind the shower curtain??!! They kept having to repeat the same scene, huh? Bummer (Te, he)
Melanie - too funny...now I will be thinking that!! Maybe I should draw a couple smiley faces on my boobies and then it will be no big deal when I tell myself "they are just drawing on my boobies, they are just drawing on my boobies".....
Thanks for the laughs girls!! Pammy0 -
Pammy.....
I got students doing my rads once in awhile (under strict supervision, of course). And I did have a waaaaay too cute guy, but just once. The techs there said that the guys seem to learn to use the buttons to position everything, much faster and better, because they have played so many video games. Made sense to me!
Play 444 today!

Right back at you. You always make me laugh. And yes, I was the body double. It's amazing what they can do to make a 5 ft, brunette, with small boobs look just like Janet Leigh. You couldn't even tell. And yes all those retakes really took their toll.

Hi, Pammy
I thank you for sharing your story of experiences. I immediately remembered your chapters of stories when I went inside the OR yesterday. I am familiar to the scene and plot as the way you have related it. The fear in me have subsided because of that. And of course, I also found courage from God. I feel well now, my day 1 after the surgery. I praise God. I will also keep you in my prayers. I'm glad I have you guys that support us. Keep all of you in y prayers.
I promise I will finish the other chapters I have'nt read.
Hugs and kisses.0 -
