Don't have an answer but
I don't have any answer for you but I am so sorry to hear about your precious wife. How long has she been ill?
May I pray for the two of you during this time?

BP
I did a quick search on the internet and there are ways to raise it but they involve nutrition mostly. Is your wife able to eat? Could a nutritionist possibly help? I personally would consult your wife's oncologist before taking her to an emergency ward/room. If she is too weak to go to her onc, I do not see how a trip to just some hospital would not put her in greater danger. That's my opinion.
My thoughts are with you both.

I'm so sorry
I'm so sorry to hear about your wife. I can only offer you my thoughts and prayers. Does the hospice nurse have any suggestions? Maybe a doctor can come visit her, I'm not sure what the answer is.

I'm so completely heartbroken about info in post. I would talk with hospice nurse about fluids? and/or packed RBC's?
I think these are used in ER if the BP drops to pump up blood volume and raise BP>
I am so sorry about your wife..I am hoping and praying that she has improved. She is fortunate to have someone love her as you do..0 -
Tearing up
What a beautiful husband you are. I know beautiful is kind of a girlie word, but it's the only one that's coming to mind for the amazing love you have for your wife.
The answer you need is far beyond any formal education I have. I would be tempted to consider hospitalization to stabilize her, but I really couldn't tell you if that is the right answer.
Along with whatever solutions you are given to treat the blood presssure and weakness issues, your voice may be a powerful ancillary treatment. Talk about things that excite her, experiences that brought the joy of life to her eyes. With the love you have for her, I imagine that same powerful love burns inside of her.
You and your wife are in my prayers and in my thoughts.0 -

I just posted some info on a
I just posted some info on a thread titled: "dogs".
I'm not too sure if your wife can handle more of a battle,
but what is suggested, is for "late term" cancer victims.
She would need to stay on a very strict diet, and no meds.
The chemical is an MAOI, and a doctor should be "on hand"
to help with any complications (if there is any).
This is a "last ditch" effort! I wish you well, and please,
give my best wishes to your wife!
(let us know if you go this route, and the outcome please.)0 -
fluids and sodium
Hi,
I, too, am so sorry to hear of how your wife is doing. I will start praying for her (and you) right away. I just googled "how to raise low blood pressure" and don't know if this would or could help at all, but the main things I read were just to give lots of water and possibly to add salt/sodium somehow. I don't know if that would be good or bad in your wife's case because I don't think the article was written with someone in mind who is as ill as your wife is. I guess the idea is that sodium is bad for people with high blood pressure, so perhaps it could help raise it when it's low.
Please take care of yourself and I would consult with as many people there in hospice, your wife's regular doctor, and in the oncology office about what could possibly help your wife.
A cyberhug to you,

I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling. But I know what it is to love someone more than you lofe yourself. No, I have no answer for you, how I wish someone did. You have our prayers and warmest thoughts. Keep us posted. I care and the people on this board care. I am so sorry there isn't anymore I can do for you.
