Hey Anna... so happy about Frank...... i will know more about me in 3 weeks.... will make a more definate decision then. Thanks for your words
Jennie
I had a botched port job the first time around. My insurance covered it and the second one. When I maxxed my insurance out in october I still had 3 rounds of chemo left. I let my insurance provider know they had paid twice for the same surgery and they recouped the money from the first surgery. It was enough to cover my my last 3 chemo treatments. I don't think you will be liable for an improper installation. It might even swing back in your favor. You could probably get a lawyer get you some money.0 -
Do not give up
Jennie I have been reading your posts. I am sorry that you would not be able to do surgery. I hope at Sloan they can give you a better answer. Also at Cancer care treatment of america they are doing a new procedure were by they infuse the liver with 10 times the dosage of chemo and it kills the cancer cells. Also I was reading on another forum from Europe there is a Liver specialist at St. James University Hospital in Leeds England his name is professor Lodge his phone number is 0113-206-4890 his secretary is Kelly. You can probably speak with her and send all your reports and have him look at them and give you his opinion also.
Good luck.0 -
