Fatigue Moopy

I got a printout from my radiologist-oncologist- about fatigue.. when you go through the treatments that we have ...the fatique it says, is like you can sleep for 10 hours and for most people it would be refreshing and restoing. For us we could wake just as tired as before. What they recommmend is a good diet plenty of fruits, veggies (we all know) lots of exercise and stress free life ( i'll try my best!! but anyway Point is....take all the time you need Moopy, to rest and heal, i and we will always be here for you, thick or thin... we love you, i know i do!

tired!
What she said! By the end of rads, I was napping daily. I knew I was beginning to get better when the afternoon nap interfered with my sleep at night. Hang in there Moopy!

Very Welcome Info!
Sister of Montana, you know I love you, too. I am just happy that you are home and out there fishing with Bob and Tootsie again.
The print-out info and napping is really helpful! My dad and stepmom brought me watermelon, cantaloupe, and fresh tomatoes. I will start on them. Not sure about the stress-free life, but I can start walking more and napping. Maureen, thanks for the tip on knowing when I am napping too much. It feels like it may be awhile before I get there.0 -

Fatigue is one of the biggest problems with radiation treatments. I think burning is number one, but, the tiredness is right after that. It can't be helped that I know of. But, it will get better with time.0 -

Thanks, y'all. I guess I'll get used to the lower energy level. I was so excited about seeing the new Harry Potter movie today, but I'll just go later. At least I can taste popcorn now:-)0 -
