Ice Cream Anyone?
There was a robin who decided to get up especially early to get some worms. It had rained the night before and there were worms aplenty for many birds, but this robin thought he would eat them all before his siblings woke-up. After consuming all the worms he could stuff into his already overstuffed stomach, he couldn't move. He lay, sick from his over-indulgance, flat on his back under the tree.

Not long afterwards, a hungry cat came along and spotted the Baskin' Robin.

    but, you know, once a joke is explained it isn't as good...but here goes:

    First of all, "Baskin Robins" is an ice cream parlor that boasts of having 31 different flavors. You don't have them in Canada? England? If not, then that's why you didn't get the punch line.

    You know the old saying, "the early bird gets the worm?" Well, this robin was a bit on the greedy side and over-induldged in worms. Hence, he couldn't fly, so he lay on the ground "basking in the sun." Get it?
