donna NEEDS OUR PRAYERS, NOT DOING WELL

Everyone please pray or send good energy or vibes for Donna. I just got off the phone with her and her spirits are really down, she was thinking that maybe the cancer is going to take her and that she wont make it out of the hospital. I talked with her for a while and she sounded a little better.

Come to find out there is a blockage/obstruction. She had to have her port taken out and she has to have surgery again. She said that the surgery will be within the week. She is pretty loopy on the meds so she couldnt explain everything.

I did get the mailing address and her room number:

Please take the time to send her a card, like I said her spirits are low and really need some uplifting and lots of prayers and good energy.

I will call her again in a few days and get another update and keep everyone posted. IF anyone has any questions you would like for me to ask or rely, just let me know. I will make a list.

    Where is her blockage? Is it in her intestines again?

    Yes
    From what little I know it appears the the liver is clear, the blockage is in the small intestine. I will ask her about the scan question just to make sure I am putting out correct info...

    Donna, you are in my thoughts and prayers and I'm sending healing energy at 'cha.
    I'm not sure if this is the same but I had a bowel obstruction about 2 months after my initial operation. It was a scary time. The good news (if you can say that) is that it's not uncommon for this to happen after surgery in the abdominal area. They had to do a do-over as kids would say and they were able to clear it up and I've no problems with that since. It's great that her CT scan was clear too.

    I won the prize, too....
    An all-expense (almost) ride thru the ER to a bed, to surgery (again...just was there 2 weeks earlier for my lumpectomy)...

    I am sending my big vibes up for Donna...snail mail from Holland can take 2 weeks to arrive...sigh...I think they see a US address, and throw it in the corner...rofl!

    So happy to hear about the good news on her scan. Her bright, loving spirit is her strength and ours here on this board. Please let Donna know that my family and I are praying that she be lifted up again.

    Let Donna know my thoughts and prayers are with her. I am glad that her scan is clear so that should be some very positive news for her. Tell her to hang in there.

    I know it's tough. Hang in there. When you clear this last hurdle it will be smooth sailing for a while. Hope you get better soon!

    I was so worried, then elated to see she was doing okay, now...oh no! I hope she's going to be okay! I will make her a card in the morning and send it to her.

    Beth, you are such a great person to keep us all informed! I am new to this site but already think the world of all of you. I have been so worried about Donna, checking all day since she went into the hospital to see if there was an update on her. This message is for Donna...Please hang on and keep your thoughts positive, with your scans being clear that is a miracle in itself! just think of the surgery as a stepping stone to get to NED and back to your life as a wife and Mom. I prayed for you and will continue to lift you up. You have an awesome spirit and everyone loves you, YOU ARE A FIGHTER!!!!! I can tell just through reading your posts. Hang on sweetheart! By the stripes on his back you are healed....I shall not die but live and proclaim what the Lord has done.
