Sorry prv, offhand I can't help you but I was sure I had info about it somewhere on my computer but a search has revealed nothing worthwhile. I will keep searching for it later and get back to you if I find it.

Avastin is a cancer medicine that interferes with the growth of cancer cells by blocking the formation and growth of new blood vessels in the tumor which slows their growth.

Avastin is used to treat cancers of the colon, rectum, lung or breast. It is usually given as part of a combination of cancer medicines.

Avastin may also be used for purposes other than those listed here.
