donna in Hospital but doing fine

Just got off the phone with Donna, she went into the hospital on SUnday due to extreme pain. Come to find out there is a blockage in her small intestine, so they admitted her and they plan to keep her until it resolves its self. She couldnt eat for a few days but now is one a liquid diet and good pain meds and doing fine. The hospital says this happens alot and will resolve on its own. She is not sure how long she will be in the hospital probably at least a few more days. She was spiking a fever and had a rapid heart beat on Sunday and they said it was probably due to dehydration, which after getting some fluids in her she is feeling much better.

She says to tell everyone thanks for their concerns and she misses you all. And she will post as soon as she gets home. I told her I could give her a call in a few days to see how she is doing.

Will keep everyone updated....

    Thank you for the update.

    You know I had a "funny feeling" come over me this weekend about Donna. I had not seen her posts for a few days, and I had a bad feeling that something might be wrong, but I dismissed it because I thought she might be out or away on Holiday.

    No wonder we have not heard from her.

    I miss her bubbly personality and she was one of the first people that welcomed me in and was very sweet to me. She's just that kind of girl.....

    Please do me a favor...and just tell her Sundanceh/Craig from Texas sends Warm Wishes and is praying for a Speedy Recovery to the "Cool Chicky", Donna.

    I will do that
    If I talk to her before she gets out of the hospital. If she gets out then you can tell her, or she will read your post. I hope she gets out in a few days, but when I talked to her like I said she was still in alot of pain and was on some good pain meds... So hopefully this will pass and she can come home and back to us..

    I was hoping nothing happened to Donna since there haven`t been any posts from her lately. I`m sorry she is having problems but glad that it is only a temporary set back.

    Thanks for all the updates on Donna. If she is going to be there for a few days, do you think she would want to receive cards from us? If so, would you share the hospital name and address, etc? Some hospitals now have websites where you can send greetings by email and they will be delivered directly to the hospital room. Just a thought. I thought it might give her some cheer.

    I am calling
    Her tomorrow and will ask and try to find out how much longer she will be there. Will keep all posted..
