Patient: My hair keeps falling out. What can you give me to keep it in?
Doctor: A shoebox.

Preventing baldness is simple. Just knot your hair from the inside.

it must have to do with the fact that it's very late and time for me to go to bed,but...HUH?

    I needed that joke, today
I needed that joke, today especially. I lost so much hair over the weekend that I finally gave in and got it shaved. I do not know why they do not recommend this to individuals. It is so emotionally draining to see hair everywhere I turned, the bathroom floor, the tub, my bed...

Keep the jokes coming...any about being temporarily bald?

    I told my husband
that when my hair started falling out that I wanted him to shave it. I didn't want to lose a little bit everyday and be freaked about it everyday.
Yes,maybe they should recommend it,but I wonder how many people have made that decision on their own.

    Cat,
It is my denseness-I finally got it!! I should know better than trying to get a joke that late at night.

    Baldness and Humor?
Maybe when I have more hair I can connect the two, Cat! Right now, though, I do have black fuzz all over my head. That's progress. So maybe I will have a few bald jokes myself soon.

    yes I have hair
but I did joke about it when I didn't too. I walked in one nite from work with a sucker in my mouth and told my hubby to start calling me Telly Savalas! (for those young folk here, Telly was a bald man who was on a TV show where he always had a sucker in his mouth). Hubby thought it was hilarious (his sense of humor is as warped as mine).

Then when the hair started growing back, I looked like a little old man with male pattern baldness because the top wasn't growing yet, (talk about a shock walking by a mirror at that time!) so I told him to call me Fuzzy Wuzzy (old magnetic game)

    black fuzz? probably looks cute
at least it isn't gray. Post a pic, I bet it is so soft, people are rubbing your head right? I really miss that.

Cat! It's nice when you're comfortable enough with yourself that you can laugh at yourself!

I may have his name wrong, but this was a cardboard with magnetic flakes under plastic, you pulled the magnets around the mans head and face to give him hair. Maybe we could do that to our heads?????

    Male pattern
I had a different kind of baldness. The front and top came in quickly, but the sides didn't. Only now are my sides looking a little thicker. It seems to be coming in black and wavy although it's probably too soon to tell. For a while I looked like a small businessman selling Encyclopedias door to door. Now I look like I ride motorcycles a lot. Hair humor is great!

    HAIR NO MORE.............
I had mine buzzed.........Look like GI JOE! Now the stubble is falling out.......Actually it hasn't been as traumatic as I thought it would be.....I love not having to shave my legs or underarms....glad this wasn't wasted on wintertime.......I wear a scarf around the house and my wig when I go out......I purchased my wig before my first chemo......I wanted to be prepared.....

I couldn't fill up a shoe box with stubble.....loved the joke!
