McLovin-is a cutie
McLovin looks pretty lanky, but it's hard to tell how big is paws are from the pix. If the paws aren't too big, I would guess boxer (because it looks as though he could be a taller than a beagle). The snout is too short, it seems, for a lab, but again it's hard to tell from the pix. The paws would be a good indication as to breed and, of course, size. The vet, when he goes in for shots, etc, should be able to give you a good idea as to his breed.
Whatever he is, he certainly is cute. Aren't dogs the best?!
Now that I have finished putting in all of my flowers, I can devote more time to my Emmy. All I need to do is put down some more soil in one of gardens and lay down a wee bit more mulch. For today, however, I am done and it's time to play .
Enjoy your new "grand" pup.

Hmmmm.....
I worked for a vet for almost 10 years and I use to be really good at pulling the breeds out of the mixes. Tough to tell from a pic, but I'm going to say either Beagle/Cocker Spaniel or Beagle/Bassett Hound? Could even be Beagle/Pit Bull? Those are my three guesses. Now you will have to make sure we know when you find out! Pammy0 -
I'll go with CRCR1954 said:McLovin.....
McLovin is just the cutest!!
Legs look pretty long, so I'm going to guess that he will be med. to large. Beagle/hound?
Whatever his lineage, he is ADORABLE!!

Beagle/Hound (Walker)? He is absolutely Gorgeous! I want one...(Wondering, do they come in Turquoise?) Hugs Jxxxxx0 -

but that's a possibilty. As for pit, hmmm, from the angle of the pix his face doesn't look angular enough, but I'm no expert. Cocker? Now, that's a thought, but wouldn't he have more curls and possibly a redder tint to his fur?
Tasha, I'm not sure, but I don't think this particular breed comes in turquoise (I'm trying to be gentle here). But, have you considered a Blue Tick Hound? They have a blue tinge to them, however, not turquoise, but it's in the blue family. There are some terrapins that have a turqoise tint in their shell, but they would probably make a feast out of your guppies. Just in case you were asking for a serious answer to your question, I thought I would oblige.

Your puppy is really cute!
He's a cutie, all right. Which is good for him, because he may be a Blabrador like my Perfect Puppy Archangel Princess, Eefy Josephine. Eefy was basically a hot dog on stilts, just like your little grandpup. He will bring much joy into the lives of all who know him. He'll also drive you all crazy too, but like I said, he's a cutie.0 -
Cat.. we're weirdcats_toy said:soo cute
I would love to have a dog, but with both of us working all day, and the bobcats, coyotes, mountain lions, bears oh my! outside. It isn't in the cards for us yet.
Enjoy the little guy. I am so weird, I LOVE puppy breath!
=^..^=
Cat.. we're weird together... I love puppy breath too... I love puppies... so do you live in Oz??? ... Oh my.. lol
We are thinking that he might be Beagle and Red Tick Hound... only 4 months old... hey .. him and my little grandson are the same age... I know Kenny had an easier time getting him than Katrina had getting hers...lol
Hugs...

have fun with the endless barking and the challenge of house breaking a beagle. Oh well, gotta' love our dogs (sorry cat and guppies lovers, I'll re-phrase that). Gotta' love our beloved pets.
I probably should keep in mind that my daughter's dog, now 8.5 yrs old, is still not housebroken. Ugh! Cute, but stupid!
Are you hunters? I hear that beagles and hounds make good hunting dogs. My father had a Red Tick Hound as a kid on the farm. They're noisy, but good dogs, according to my father.

Taleena, your grandpup does remind me of our Eefy, all long legs and sweet face. Congratulations on the new love in your family. Lynn I agree 100%. Thanks for posting Mark Twain's comment.0 -
