Mood swings
lucky girl-
I had surgery a year ago and from all reports have healed decently well. I'm not sure if the treatments are causing your husbands mood swings, or the reality of what we went through. I can tell you that my insecurity over sexual issues has increased and the fear of not regaining sexuality has taken a toll on me. I have always been even tempered and far from moody, but over the past few months been very up and down. Ask him directly if he has concerns and reassure him that you will stay by his side.
My wife answers my question with 'let's look ahead' and 'it'll work out' and I know means well. But as tough as we like to act we need reinforcement and to know how that we can count on and trust you to stick with us.

Wow! I am a 55 year old, and 2 months since surgery. I sometimes think anything is better than the alternative or is it? My wife is just as encouraging "one step at a time" and "it will get better"
Best of luck to you with good thoughts and prayers your way.
