Welcome Bev
If you have been reading our posts for awhile you already know the kind of support you can get here.
Thanks for deciding to join our discussions. Each and every one of us has unique and valuable input here and you will too. Especially since you are in this trial. It will be of great interest to many of us to know how that turns out and what is learned from it.
I am a 23 year breast cancer survivor. I hang out here now and then (well every day...lol) partly to let other women know that this is so very doable and that there is not only life after cancer but it can be a GOOD life. And the process is worth it, difficult as it sometimes is.
God bless. Looking forward to seeing you again.0 -

Bev, welcome to the group. It isn't one we would wish to join, but please know that you will find lots of comfort and solace among the many members who participate on this Board. Questions you may have will be answered, comfort will be afforded when you are in need of a helping hand, and always there is someone who has experienced the same things you will have arise during your treatment and survival. We are a family, of sorts, with vibrant discussions, perpetual compassion, and an understanding like you will find no where else. Only those who have traveled the road can truly understand what you are going through, and I do wish you an easy journey. It won't be fun, but you will have lots of company along the way. Hugs.

Hee hee. What is a person who laughs at your jokes even if they aren't funny?
A sister!
Okay. Marcia figured it out. I left out one fact. I am Marcia's sister. She has been the one helping me all this time.0 -

And keep us posted on the trial....is this the osteoporosis drug that is given IV?
Hugs, Kathi
There are three drugs they are using in the trial. One of the three will be assigned to me randomly. One of the drugs is given by IV and two are pills. I'm hoping for one of the pills. I hate to be stuck and I'm getting stuck enough as it is!!0 -

I figure you can never have enough welcomes. Glad you're here; sorry you had to join the ranks, but as you probably know by now, we have a pretty good time.
Hang in there and come here often,

Sorry about your dx, but glad you are here. Like the others have said, you will find much support and genuine caring here. You have joined a group that has bonded quickly and one that shares tears as well as laughter. Who would have thought that one could laugh on a bc site? I never thought I could ever laugh heartily again, then I joined-up with this fine group of Daft Sods .
I'm a 3 and 1/2 yr survivor and my dx sounds exactly like yours, except that I could not take Arimidex. Wish you well on the trial drugs.
