Hello Kindred Spirits! I am finally back online after a wonderful vacation visiting a fellow CSN BC Survivor!! More on that next week...

A quick hello to absolutely EVERYONE in here! I have been reading so many of your posts, and hope that Shark Fin is doing well, the new ones find the support they need/deserve, and of course, as always ((((HUGS)))) to my favorite people in the universe~ my Warrior-Survivors, and of course, the Caregivers among us!

I will not be posting, as Reggie and I are leaving for Lake Tahoe this evening to spend the 4th with family in Northern California. We were planning on not being here anywy, but now we have revved-up our plans to go. Why, you ask? Oh you didn't ask? Well, I will tell you anyway!

REGGIE AND I LIVE 10 MINUTES FROM NEVERLAND RANCH!!! Need I say more? I didn't think so!

So, I will be back in touch probably Tuesday! Please have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
I love you all more than you know!

    Oh dear, I am sure I would go as far from there as possible as well. I hope you enjoy your Tahoe visit! We love to take our bikes there and utilize the bike paths, they pass by some gorgeous scenery! Welcome back, we missed you!

    I see the logic behind your trip to Lake Tahoe at this time, Claudia! LOL!!!

    I would also get "outta Dodge" if I were you!!

    Love the garage sale idea Tasha. See ... it's great thinking like that which would help the Daft Sods Auxiliary in their fund raising ... so they can get enough money to send all of us "official" Daft Sods to Hawaii so we can actually meet each other ... face to face.

    Well, we are still going to Lake Tahoe, but my long legs must have kicked some sense into the Powers That Be! There are soooo many lookie-loo's and cadaver-watchers wanting to "pay respects" to the Gloved One ( who indeed did depart this earthly scene much too early, regardless of anyone's personal view of his troubled personna) that THE PUBLIC VIEWING IS CANCELLED!!! This tiny town could in no way accomodate the literally thuosands, and maybe hundreds of thousands who were already starting to fill the streets, hotels and restaurants.
    That having been said, the road to and by Neverland Ranch is crawling with people both civilians and those of the papparazzi variety, and of course there are signs and wreaths, and stuffed animals~ even if the viewing isn't going to happen here, thousands still want to see the Ranch. Sorta like Graceland, I imagine, after the death of Elvis...sigh

    Claudia....
    I wonder if Neverland will become a permanent tourist attraction, like Graceland. If it does, you may be inundated with tourists and sightseers into infinity!

    Well, our little corner of the world lives and dies by the Tourist dollar.....it may be a blessing in diguise for the Stay-Cationers. First they visit Neverland, then they do the Wine Country Tour, and final destination the Casino....sounds good and rather like an "Economic Stimulus" to me! LOL

    Claudia, they did say they were moving his body to the ranch today. I told my boss he could rent out his field for parking, make lots of money. Or let helicopters use his land for their takeoff, even more money. He said it would bother his cows, so no way.
    We were out there when Elizabeth Taylor married at the ranch and it was crazy then. This one has to be worse. They decided to hunker down and go nowhere, all the hotels etc are already full.
    There is talk about doing the Neverland thing like Graceland, but the city would have to approve, and I bet they won't
    Have fun in Tahoe, should be very nice there right now.

    Latest News is they UN-REMOVED bringing the body here.....and I hope that stays the Latest Truth. How odd that ill, frail, wheel-chair bound Liz Taylor is still with us, and yet Michael~ oh well. Such is the whole Hakuna Matada of it all. You know the areas I am in~ I know you can imagine what it looks like here in the aftermath of MJ and only shudder!
