Thank You, O Poetess Laureate!
Today the Moopinator has unleashed her awesome powers of retail therapy at the following stores: Target, Dillard's, Macy's, and JCPenney. She has been trying desperately to get back in shopping shape for the arrival of her big sister Jackie (aka Shopping Woman) next Friday. As a result, she is a little bit worn out and not able to tell you, Cat, and all of her other beloved sisters in pink who have been pulling for her that she appreciates very much your loving support as she goes in for her first radiation treatment tomorrow. So I just did. Hah!
And thanks from me and the pups too. It's exciting living in a real big city in our cool condo, but it's also weird and lonely not to be home where we know people and where things are. This board has become a lifeline for us in a completely different way: you see, y'all have followed us here to St. Louis! We're so very grateful.
Love,
Joe

Well, I've never been to St.
Well, I've never been to St. Louis before but I think I'm liking it The Moopinator??
That's hilarious. How do you think of these names??? It's perfect! I am glad she got out practiced her retail therapy, that's the only way to improve and become more efficient....practice, practice, practice!! All my best to her tomorrow and hope it all goes without a hitch and that the two of you enjoy your stay in that fair city.

Joe...
you didn't like the "in tow" huh? Well, I needed it to rhyme...
I do know you are taking her everywhere she needs to be. Just like my own hubby, who never left me for one of my treatments, no matter how bored he got, he refused to leave. That was so special to me, I just know how much it means to the Moopinator too!
Good that she got some of her retail therapy out of the way. It will be easier, but the cumulative effect can wear you down after awhile.
We will all be thinking about the two of you tomorrow. And yes, so far I love St Louis, lots of shopping so far, goody good.
Keep us posted.

Here is the poem Cat wrote in honor of the Moopinator:
Here comes the Moopinator
Set to start radiation
Wearing a pink sweater
And a nice pink carnation
She shows no expression
With Aortus in tow
She runs through her sessions
And leaves with a glow
She conquered the rads
She did it in style
She is now one of the grads
And it was all done with a smile.

I went up in the Arch when I was much younger and I'm afraid of heights! I was ok but I am also closetphobia. I substitued a word because I forgot what it's really called. Or I don't know how to spell it and I'm lazy today. Sorry.0 -

You're the brave one,and I mean that! Usually when I can't spell the word,I try to think of another way to phrase it so I don't have to try!0 -
