So Very Sad
I know most people thought he had lost it several years ago, but that guy had one heck of a career and was a wonderful entertainer. I'm sorry for his loss, and his children.
This has been a tragic week with Farrah, Michael and Ed.
We all have truly lost some very inspirational, talented and courageous people. My heart is so saddened for their families. May they rest in peace.

My hubby and I were sitting
My hubby and I were sitting in the restaurant, then I saw TV says breaking news,I was shocked and I said this world just gives people surprises everyday.I am very sad for this.0 -
It's a surprise
I remember when he was a cute little black kid.
(can I say black kid?)
He was a good entertainer but he had major issues. He was a good looking guy, why did he destroy himself with surgery. It's not a contest but I don't care too much about him (except for his kids of course)
Farrah was a much stronger woman than Michael would ever be.

Yes, back in "the day" Michael was a true entertainer. He had the world in the palm of his hand. But I cannot mourn the loss of a pedophile. I know, I'll hear the "He was found innocent" chant, but honestly, I think we all know the truth. I certainly wouldn't have entrusted ANY of my children into his care.
I also feel badly that Farrah's death seems to have been overshadowed by his. That is a tragedy.
Sad for Farrah,

Phil...I think saying "black
Phil...I think saying "black kid" is fine. I have three of them myself! :-) I had to laugh when I read that because it's so hard to know what will and will not offend people no matter how innocent you are in saying something. But that's exactly what he was...a black kid...as was I! But yeah, it's a shame that he had so much going for him earlier in life but in his later years, never seemed to find peace. And that whole addiction to little boys...well, as a mother of 2 little boys, I have no tolerance for ANYONE like that. Remember when he had that sleepover with that little boy sleeping in the bed with him and it was supposed to be innocent? *sigh*...but I digress. Yesterday was a sad day...the loss of two human lives that we heard about, and even more that we didn't.0 -

I never know how to refer to people. I would have not made any reference at all but I think that he went out of his way to deny his heritage. He had a lot of talent. I got to see the Jackson 5 once in Philly right around he started his solo career. It was an incredible show. I didn't care much for a lot of his solo work other than Thriller. I certainly could not believe he got away with all of the kid stuff. I bet much more will come out as this unravels.
Your comment about the lives being lost that we don't even know about is so true...
Hope you are doing well....0 -

I have a feeling (call it a {sick and twisted} hope) that much more will surface now that he's gone. My hubby is convinced that he was chemically neutered as a young boy to keep his voice child like...ergo the no facial hair, the soft high voice, the desire to look like a woman, the obvious fact that his children are not his biological offspring etc etc.
As for the pedophile issue.... I have no truck for that either, but in his case I have an ounce of compassion for him as I think he's a product of a very sick industry that exploited him as a child also; though maybe he was never sexually molested, he surely was abused. I feel sorry for him but mainly I feel sorry for his children and the children that he molested. Whether he "touched" them or not, he blurred the healthy boundaries with kids. We know that to be a fact. It's on tape.
His music does make me get up and dance and I've liked it ever since I was a little girl and he was my "peer"--just a few years older than I. But enough with the crotch-grabbing. eww.
