My Mom has known that she had breast cancer for over 2 years, and has kept it a secret from everybody including her husband, the cancer started "eating away" her brest 9 months ago, she just told us because she could not deal with the pain anymore, her liver is hard as a rock, and half of her breast is gone, you can smell it on her. We did get her to the doctor, and they have done a bone scan, CT scan, and will do a biopsy monday, I'm needing answers so badly, i wondered if anybody has ever heard of somebody doing this, and what are her chances, I need to know, I have 2 brothers out of state, and they need to know where we're at, i can't take the burden of everything on my own.

I am very sorry about your mother.
We are not equipped to offer any prognosis for your mother. Get a medical team you have confidence in, even if it means getting more than one opinion, and then help your mother follow their recommendations to the letter.
You can also research on line but there is a lot of useless and even dangerous information out there.
As soon as you have test results and a treatment plan in place, let your brothers know what is going to happen next and ask them, or someone closer to you if possible, to be prepared to help and support you. Taking good care of yourself so you can care for your mother is very important.

Very Sorry
I am very sorry to hear about your mother. But you need to wait and see what the doctors say. They will have the best information for you. We are all here to help you as much as possible. I know that the waiting is the hardest part, but we will lift you and your family up in prayer that god will carry you through this. Please let us know the results and try to remain positive.

I'm sorry for your mother's diagnosis...
And, it's good that she's been to the doctor and has had some tests.
We are survivors - and including a few caregivers, like you - not medical professionals. The specific answers you seek will need to come from them, not us. However, we're all here to support and encourage each other. You are most welcome to visit often, whenever you need or want to.
Best wishes to you, and hope for your mother.
Kind regards, Susan
P.S.: There is another board for Caregivers. You would be welcomed there, too, I'm sure.0
