Hello everyone,
I just wanted to give you an update for those of you who remember my CEA glitch a couple of months ago. I am happy to report that I just got my blood tests again. It took me 2 months to get up the nerve to go back and have it re-run, but I am glad I did because today I found out my CEA is "less than 0.5"! Yay, whew! I am just so relieved, I am sure you all can relate!
Thanks for all the uplifting words. I surely appreciate the support from this site and all the caring people who are there to support us even when it seems like it is "no big deal" to some..it can seem like a real big deal when it is happening to you.
Anyway, just wanted to post a little bit of good news! For you newbies out there, it can be done! Just BELIEVE!!

yay for you!
Susan,
I'm so glad to hear you're doing so well- what a relief for you! With my own concerns over my CEA lately, I'm glad to hear yours is down again. I'm, of course, hoping for mine to do the same. Take care and ENJOY being NED! You continue to give hope to me and to others.
God bless,

My husband has been dx with stage iv rectal cancer and started xeloda and radiation
yesterday. He has 5 mets to liver so surgery wasn't an option (at that point -
hoping chemo will take care of that situation)
Thanks so much!0 -
Hey There!!!
Great news Susan!!!
We are on track to hit our 5 year mark together this fall. I can't wait and YES you need to come to CP7 in Key West to meet us all and celebrate.
The hotel room rates are good until mid September as long as we have rooms left on the contract (6 left today).
Let me know if you have any questions and please enjoy and celebrate girlfriend. You deserve it.
