Treatment? Done! The Wait Begins
Well yesterday was a big day for me, I had my last radiation treatment. I take tamoxifen twice a day as prescribed and my hair is growing like crazy. Now it is a matter of waiting for my next scan on July 30th. There primary worry is a spot on my lung which is something they have been watching from the start of my journey. So now I get to sit back and regain my strength and make myself as healthy as possible between now and then for just in case.

YEAH TJ,

YEAH TJ,
Know that I am doing my happy chair dance with my new hot, pink, feather boa!!!! I've worn one completely out. I'm praying that the spot on your lung is gone, or it responds like mine is to the tamoxifen. We'll get through it either way, Sister! Now let everyone wait on you.
Love and gentle hugs, Donna0 -

TJ, that is so great. Yes, now your job is to regain your strength as you say. Take the time to be good to yourself, recover, and experience joy and contentment again. My thoughts for your next scan to come out completely benign.

WOW!!!!!!! So many words of encouragement. It truly amazes me! Thank you all! I am thinking positive thoughts and doing everything I can to ensure that I do what is best for me and my body. This is my time as I keep telling my family. All of whom are being supportive according to there ability's, including my 5 year old nephew (who is staying with me for the summer) who has started clearing his own place at the table off so I don't have to. It is so cute he cant even see over the counter, talk about cringe every time I hear a plate or glass drop into the sink. haha
Anyway thanks again and I will keep you all updated!
