Shark Fin needs Postive Thoughts and Prayer

Praying for Shark Fin
RE, that gorgeous little granddaughter of yours is going to be just fine.
Almost 18 years ago, my infant nephew Jonathon came down with about the most severe case of jaundice his pediatrician had ever seen. This month Jon graduated from high school, is getting ready to attend college (my alma mater, in fact) where he will be in Air Force ROTC. Nothing is going to stop Jon from being an officer in the US Air Force, and nothing is going to stop Ava Lynn from achieving each and every one of her great dreams in life. Certainly not jaundice. But we'll be sending prayers her way, just to make sure.

RE, my heart goes out to you! You have all of my prayers for Ava! When I read something like this, it certainly makes any small problem I might have, seem so insignificant!Christmas Girl said:Awww, sweet little baby...
Dear RE, am so sorry to learn of little Ava's serious jaundice and unexpected hospital stay. And although I know that you and your family are beyond worried, I'll be hoping your beautiful granddaughter has inherited at least a little of her proud and loving Grandmother's strength - so that she will quickly rally and be back at home very soon.
She is now within our prayer circle.
Kind regards, Susan0 -
AVA UPDATE
Hello everyone and thank you for your prayers, positive thoughts and encouragement. Ava seems to be reacting well to the treatment, her numbers are down a bit. The doc just took her off the light to see how she will react, I will keep you updated. Thanks again!
Thanks a ton!

Thank you, dear RE, for this good news update.
Ava is already a strong little one, like her grandmother. Fighting back, and only days into her life. I'll be hoping, with heartfelt prayers, that her progress continues - hour by hour... And, that she's very soon back home with her family.
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Your granddaughter is beautiful home she comes home soon!!!!!!!!!!
Sending prayers your way. When the little cutie comes home, tell Mom to put her to sleep in front of a sunny window once a day. My granddaughter had this to after she was born, and the doctors told my son & daughter in Law to do this.0 -

Your little Angel
Hi RE,
I haven't been in for some time and just saw your postings of little Ava.
God Bless her, she is a little "doll".
My son developed jaundice too, right after birth. I hardly had him with me
at all while in hospital, only 2 times - he was always in the incubator under
the lights, with his little Batman mask on!
The nurses took him out to feed him and back he went.
I would cry everytime they had to squeeze the blood from his little foot
to check his Billirubin, he would scream his head off.
I spent the whole time at the nursery window when it was opened.
Drs. said it would take a little time for his liver to take over what
mine had been doing for him.
We came home on the third day, took him back twice for testing.
His numbers were doing great and he was over it in no time.
Just wanted to share that with you - she will do just fine!
Congratulations to the whole family ~~ she does look like Grandmom.
Lots of prayers for Ava - what a pretty name!0 -
