Missed Periods?

Has anyone experienced missed periods after chemotherapy? I completed the BEP (bleomycin, etoposide, cysplatinum)in November and have not had my period since! I know that I am not pregnant, I'm not having hotflashes or any other signs of premenopause. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I am still hoping to have another baby in the next couple years. Hope everyone is doing well.

    I am on chemo now I had 3txs and no period since March. I am 50yrs old and always had regular periods it must have something to do with the chemo. I to am having hot flashes and crying all the time. I am sch for surgery on July 1st I never had any type of surgery and am scaried to death of drs.

    SURGERY WASN'T TOO BAD FOR ME
    Hi Tomcat57

    Just wanted to let you know that for some of us, me included, the surgery wasn't too bad. I found out on 3-30-09 that I have cancer and had my hysterectomy/debulking surgery on 4-02-09. I had never had surgery before either. My gyn/onc was also my surgeon. Surgery went very well. I had minimal pain afterwards (they gave me enough painkillers I guess) and trust me, I am a whimp when it comes to pain. I unfortunately had complications with my incission and an infection, but all is well today. I am going for my 3rd chemo treatment on 6-29-09 and will be getting IV fluids on 7-01-09. I'll say a prayer for you.
