back pain

I got up this morning feeling fine and then not. It started as indigestion and now my back hurts. I took my nexium and I walked alot to ease the indigestion, so I don't know if that caused the back pain. I'm not running any fever, but when my WBC was checked on Friday, I was at .02, so I am worried about infection. I am on an antibiotic and have been careful.

Do you think it might be something to call my onc about or just watch it? I have only had one chemo treatment and one neurlastic shot and that was last week.

    Call the oncologist.
    Not all that long ago, Moopy was observing to our St. Louis oncologist that she hated to keep pestering the oncologists down here with phone calls. Dr. Horn almost sounded mad when she responded; "That's what we're there for."

    It may be something, it's most likely the Neulasta making your bones ache (ask our local 50 Foot Woman about that sometime), but it's the oncologist's job to decide what it is and what to do, not yours. Your job is to get the ball rolling and call your oncologist.

    I agree with Joe!
    You should call your oncologist. You never know if it is nothing or if it is something. And, that is their job, to help you and to answer any question. So, call your oncologist and let us know what you find out! Jeanne
