Hello everyone, I am back from my week camping in the mountains....it was wonderful. While we were gone my first grand daughter decided to be born (little stinker). I attempted to change my picture to one of her so you can see her. If it did not work I have also posted a photo of her in the expressions gallery. Her brother's Ian and Landon already adore her, it is sweet to see them tend to her.

    Your grand daughter is beautiful. Her brothers will protect her for many years.

    And your granddaughter is a doll! No doubt her big brothers adore her! Back in the day my little brother and I were so thrilled to get our baby sister that we treated her like a princess all through high school... okay, that was an exaggeration. I don't want that spoiled little snot driving down from Wisconsin to kick my a-s-s.

    But seriously, I'm glad you are enjoying your latest blessing and even gladder to see you back!

    Thank you all for you kind words, I am glad to be back too. Her name is Ava Lynn, it is a spin off of my mom's name Evelyn who my daughter adored.

    so glad you're back. Your granddaughter is beautiful and will make a nice addition to the boys. They will protect her for awhile, then they will pick on her (I know from experience), then they will protect her again. Lots of fun for gramma's. Glad your vacation was good!

    Camping in the mountains sounds delightful! I have not yet pulled out my pop-up this summer, but I hope to do that soon. We don't have any mountains nearby, but we do have a mess of lakes. Once the house is back under control (gardens, etc...) I hope to convince my hubby that it's time to take the dogs on a little venture with nature (his idea of camping is finding a nice hotel in a big city with tool and wooden craft stores to buy more tools and gather ideas for his woodworking obsession). My gardens are bit out of control since I could not work on them the past three summers (for reasons that do not need to be explained here) and they are taking more time than I had thought to return them to beautiful gardens before can**r.

    Anyway, welcome back :).
