More about pathology reports.
I went and found a site that explains how to read you pathology report. At the very first it talks about checking you name birthday and date of surgery. I have 2 different reports 1 shows a date of 7/22/2008 the other a date of 7/23/2008 of material being received
my surgery wasn't until 7/24/2008.............should I be concerned???? I know this sounds stupid as it is almost a year later.

Question it
Even though it a year old you can call the pathologist(s) at the hospital a ask them to verify these things and ask for a new report with the correct dates on them.
Tell them you want to be sure it is your report and not someone elses.
Best of luck,

Perhaps biopsy results?
I ask that because my biopsy was considered "outpatient surgery" where I was treated.
No matter. Yes, you should certainly double-check to allay your concerns.
Kind regards, Susan
P.S.: Maybe post that site, in order to help others here?0 -

I would definitely check it out. Even though to err is human, to forgive divine...some medical mistakes can mean the difference between life and death, chemo and rads, arimidex or not....
If I were you, I would call and get a new pathology report and question why your dates are wrong. Are you sure it is yours? Just check and make sure! Good luck!0 -
